The journey to this point in my life has been influenced by the people and experiences I have encountered along the way. This is true for all of us. Each one of us is a unique human being -

no two people go down the exact same road.

A love of music has influenced my life, from singing and playing music to becoming a nationally certified Music Therapist. I will not be asking you to sing or play an instrument. I share this information with you because I believe that being able to think creatively about something we

have tried "everything" to solve often produces ideas and solutions that hadn't occurred to us before.

Being creative invites us to take risks and step out of our "normal" way of thinking about things in order to find new ways to approach problems/challenges in our lives.

Why choose me as your therapist?

I am a Masters level Licensed Professional Counselor who brings years of experience working with adults (18 and older) in a compassionate and non-judgemental atmosphere.

I have worked and continue to work with a diverse clientele. One of my primary areas of focus has been working with clients who often feel marginalized by society, including those who identify as LGBT; those who do not conform to a binary gender identity or expression; and those living with HIV.
